See Products | Professional Agile training must come from a Trainer with "actual" years of experience, a real-time practitioner in the roles, and a continuous learner to be a cross-industry thought leader. When choosing a Trainer, this individual should have the ability to empathize with both your role and work environment to effectively communicate both formal content and experience based on your scenario.
Not all Agile Trainers may be the right-fit, having an inability to empathize with the reality of your workplace organizational structure and culture. Example, you may be in the Agile role part-time as a dual-hat or expected to be a Full-stack Agilist. Are you a Business Analyst now directed to be a Product Owner or a Project Manager now directed to be a Scrum Master? If yes, ensure you choose a Trainer who can effectively communicate to your needs. Our Principle Agile Trainer, Mark Hannah, has years of hands-on experience in ALL the roles of both Agile and Project-Product Management (PMO) and even on the Development Team roles (UX, QA, InfoSec).
Agile courses a known to be ONLY a two or three day agenda with both lectures and group activities, which is NOT enough. From experience, this is NOT feasible and is a root-cause for many failed Agile Transformations and SAFe implementation attempts. Moreover, training has been provided in a "physical" co-location per guidance of the outdated Scrum Guide '17 & '20. Both are a disservice to the Trainee and their organization as in the "reality" of 2022 and beyond we are not co-located or even on the same continent AND do not need to be.
The HBI Solutions approach is to overcome Agile 1.0 - 2.0 per se and modernize Agile Training for gaining Business Agility in the 4th Industrial Revolution by training on "how-to" leverage existing tools and mentor ALL alumni for life! Yes that essentially means your Trainer will be on speed-dial of sorts and a digital twin within your organization indirectly as a "Fractional Enterprise Agile Coach".
See Scheduling | Quick analogy, there are High School sports coaches and the Pro Coaches that guide their team to National championships. What's challenging is how to know or verify a Pro Coach or if your organization is "ready" for a Pro Coach?
Our Principle Agile Trainer has TWELVE long years as an Active-duty U.S. Marine who has trained thousands of top talent from all walks of life. Mark Hannah was also a Marine Corps Martial Arts instructor and a Marksmanship Coach for Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom. He trained multiple roles on Agile Project Management. As a Martial Artist would agree, the Lineage of knowledge from Master to Student is similarly the secret recipe from Master Chef to Student.
The Coaching received is in every way Elite and Premium knowledge, skills, and practices which are unique to the Journey of our Tribe.
We are a tribe who practices what we advise, one agile mind - any technique. As on the Scottish Clan Hannah Grant of Arms, "Forward Together", we are family.
